Since dogs and cats are quite important to those who own them — are almost like family members — those who care about sustainable living must also care about what impacts their pets are having on sustainability issues.
Some perspectives:
We don’t have a pet at the moment but when we had a dog, it was excellent at recycling human food that would have otherwise been wasted. Always worth bearing that in mind when choosing a pet.
