We are beginning to come to the believe that a major source of inaction is the level of despair around climate change. The opposite is collective action and belief in change. Does this type of article make you feel helpless to make change or does it inspire change as you feel closer to the truth?
I thought that it was accepted that in western cultures people are more ‘risk averse’ than ‘reward seeking’? I think that we have reached the current state of collapse by playing down the risks associated with global heating. So I find the Guardian article measured and helpful and would hope that others would also.
