I’ve been arranging quite a few journeys by train after commuting to the transport challenge. Even though I was booking in advance I was really struggling to find affordable train tickets, especially if they when they require more than one train.
I found www.raileasy.co.uk which saved me £20 on a trip to Somerset against the Trainline and saved £20 on a trip to Nottingham.
Although it’s all a bit more expensive than driving the low emissions car (in fuel) it means I can chill out on the journey and save on car wear and tear… All in all pretty happy!
