Gas heating systems account for the proportion of domestic carbon emissions. I’ve got a gas boiler but I want to plan (financially and otherwise) for getting an alternative. I’ve done some research about air source heat pumps and have found the shared topics on this very helpful. There is such an array of systems out there and also people are telling me I need to insulate to make these types of heating systems work.
I’ve also got quite a big garden and should research the feasibility of using a ground source heat pump as well or possibly geothermal?
I should start making plans for this, has anyone got any tips or other online resources they can share to help me on my planning journey on this one?
Thanks in advance!
