Trees 'most effective solution' for climate change

1bn hectares on new forest and we’ll be ok say the scientists!

Certainly is a controversial study.

Here is an article that presents a very different view. https://www.carbonindependent.org/76.html

TLDR the estimate from carbonindependent.org is 6.8 Bn hectares needed. This is about half the planet.

Not that planting trees is a bad thing though. Planing trees is great  . It’s just not going to to be a practical way to prevent climate change.
