'A masterpiece': Norwich council houses win Stirling architecture prize

This is worthwhile looking at. A housing estate that is of highest energy efficiency standard and with communal gardens at the back of the houses. Environmental and social benefits .

Nice! Thanks for sharing, Tom.

Does anyone else have any examples where both environmental and social benefits have been met? Personally, I’m also loving all these really clever but super simple recycle schemes popping up all over Europe and Asia whereby people deposit their plastic waste in exchange for metro and bus tickets. See what they’re trialing in Rome *here.

More broadly, there’s also a really nice think piece around architectural impact *here too which calls out buildings that give back the amount that they’re taking, so to speak.

Would love everyone to fill this thread with examples they’ve seen too!
